During the summers of 2015 and 2016 I worked as an intern for Tesla Motors in Fremont and Palo Alto respectively. I worked for Justin Barozie in powertrain manufacturing research and development.

During those internships, I collaborated on cross-functional teams to validate and improve next-generation battery manufacturing processes. I also designed and performed multi-variable quantitative experiments and reported findings to battery project managers to improve battery designs. Day-to-day, I participated on a B-sample battery build, and helped develop build line improvements to improve dimensional accuracy and reduce cycle time.

I enjoyed the independence to identify problems and solve them as they arose, while having over-arching projects with longer lead times and deadlines.
